چکیده
Background. Male infertility is one of the most serious medical and social problems. Idiopathic accounts for about 30 % cases infertile men. Rheumatoid arthritis associated with a decreased fertility potential. The aim present work was to determine lipid peroxidation level activity antioxidant enzymes such as glutathione peroxidase reductase in seminal plasma blood men idiopathic concomitant autoimmune joint pathology (rheumatoid arthritis). Materials Methods. 45 aged 22–48 were examined. They divided into 2 groups: first group – 23 somatically healthy patients infertility; second 22 rheumatoid arthritis. control consisted 27 males normal semen profile according WHO criteria confirmed parenthood. concentration thiobarbituric acid reactive substance measured plasma. Results. When analyzing fluid, we found that TBARS content 4-fold greater compared fertile (p <0.001), whereas, its within range. activation combination accompanied by statistically significant decrease system. It should be noted more pronounced disorders Conclusions. (1) An increased observed normospermic men, whereas no differences between men; (2) impaired status both (3) showed significantly higher levels infertility, GPx GR groups.

correlation of seminal plasma total antioxidant capacity and malondialdehyde levels with sperm parameters in men with idiopathic infertility
conclusions our results show that oxidative stress could play an important role in male infertility as well as in sperm motility and sperm morphology. patients and methods this case control study was conducted using 35 men with idiopathic infertility and 34 men with proven fertility. seminal plasma tac and mda were measured by ferric reducing ability of plasma (frap) and thiobarbituric acid (tb...
متن کاملAntioxidant levels in blood and seminal plasma and their impact on sperm parameters in infertile men.
Excess reactive oxygen species (ROS) beyond the scavenging capacity of antioxidants leads to DNA damage and oxidation of lipoprotein components at the cellular and subcellular level. The oxidative stress (OS) adversely affects sperm function by altering membrane fluidity, permeability and impairs sperm functional competence. In the present study, the OS status in seminal plasma and blood serum ...
متن کاملGonadotropins in Infertile Men with Idiopathic Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism
Background Stimulatory therapy with gonadotrpins is an effective treatment to induce spermatogenesis in men with idiopathic hypogonadotroptic hypogonadism (IHH). The aim of this study was to assess the effectiveness of human chorionic gonadotropin / human menopausal gonadotropin on hypogonadotropic infertile men. MaterialsAndMethods This study included fifty-six azoospermic infertile men with I...
متن کاملAssociation of rs737008 in PRM1 and rs4780356 in PRM2 Polymorphisms with Idiopathic Infertility in Iranian men
Aim and Background: Histones are replaced by protamines to package sperm head DNA during mammalian spermatogenesis. Protamine genes variation cause sperm DNA damage and is affect infertility in men. Therefore this study aim was investigation on association of two rs737008 in PRM1 gene and rs4780356 in PRM2 gene polymorphisms with azoospermia and oligospermia in Iranian idiopathic infertile men....
متن کاملCorrelation between Seminal Fluid Analysis and Levels of Gonadotropins in Serum and Seminal Plasma of Normozoospermic Men and Infertile Patients
Background Levels of serum gonadotropins have direct effects on testicular functions and spermatogenesis. Assessment of levels of serum gonadotropins from fathered subjects and infertile patients indicates wide range diversity. In this study, we tried to find out whether the levels of seminal FSH and LH affect the parameters of seminal fluid analysis (SFA) and if there is any correlation betwee...
